About Me
In high school I’d often get in trouble because I wasn’t paying attention. Why? Because I was daydreaming about gaming.
My daily after-school routine was to grab a plate of Oreo cookies, head to the basement, and game on my Nintendo Wii in the dark until dinnertime. And then I’d game at night in my room after everyone fell asleep.
I was avoiding real life and my emotions through gaming. Truth be told, I didn’t have many friends and found it easy to cope through gaming.
But after seeing my crush dance with her date as I went to prom alone - I had a realization. I couldn’t keep living like this if I wanted to be happy.
I wanted to stop feeling depressed, anxious, unfocused, and addicted to video games.
And I did it. I had my own coaching and therapy. I learned skills, behaviors, mindsets, confidence, fitness, and social skills to help me stop being depressed.
I became a psychiatrist to help people level up in real life.
I know what it feels like to be down bad, but also how great it feels climbing out.
Let’s level up together.
